Amanda Jeppe I come from a tourism background and find the changing face of tourism in South Africa fascinating.  I am the manager of Villa Africa and am enjoying being part of such an interesting and dynamic team.  Home life is split between hubby, 2 kids and a Labrador – keeping me very busy!!

Carol Barnes I’ve been in tourism since 1995 when I did tour guiding for a couple of years – after which I turned to being a tour consultant. In 2005 I decided to move into holiday accommodation and I started working for Villa Africa. My ‘family’ consists of 3 sons and 1 daughter (the youngest 2 are twins) and I also have 4 granddaughters – 2 of which live in the United States. We emigrated from Leeds U.K. in 1984 and have lived in Hout Bay since 1989 so I consider myself a ‘mature’ Capetonian! My home life consists of me & John and our 2 retrievers – Paddington & Libby. I like listening to music, watching a good movie, travelling, and I’m an ardent supporter of Leeds United (my hometown soccer club)!
